Donald Arthur Hasselstrom, 76, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2005. Donald was born August 3, 1928, the son of Arthur John and Mary Ethel Foley Hasselstrom in Hibbing, MN. He had been a research chemist and marketing executive with an oil refinery before he retired. Don was a graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Helen West; and foster brother, William Foley. Don is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara of Rio Rancho; two children, Karen H. Bradley and husband Douglas, and Mary V. Hasselstrom all of Albuquerque; four grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah and Jane Lindborg, and Liam Browning. The family wishes to thank the staff of The Court at Sandia Springs and the staff of Vista Care Hospice for their dedicated and loving care of Don during these past months. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 20, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho.
