Obituary for DURAN

Frances Padilla Duran went to meet her Savior on Sunday, May 15, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tomas Duran; two children, daughter Ernestina Duran and a son, Ernest Duran. Mrs. Duran is survived by her children, Gilbert Duran and wife Ingrid of Edgewood, NM, Ernest Duran and wife Terri of Farmington, NM, Pat Duran and wife Lita of Bloomfield, NM, Leonard Duran and wife Julia of Bernalillo, NM, Tom Duran and wife Becky of Los Alamos, NM, Rosemary Lopez and husband George of La Jara, NM, Rudy Duran and Ruth Duran both of Kirtland, NM; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and numerous family members and family friends. Mrs. Duran will be greatly missed for her sense of humor, her kindness for everyone that she met, and the love that she showed to everyone. The Family of Frances P. Duran wish to say a Special Thank You to Gary Nickless, Pastor Richard Garcia and Sue Stevens, for their professional medical care, love and kindness that was shown toward Mrs. Duran and to her entire family in this time of need; and a Very Special Thank You to Rosemary and George Lopez who lovingly and tenderly cared for her mother Frances Duran until her passing. Final viewing will be Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Guadalupe Hall in Cuba, NM; where Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Clyde Jacquez officiating. Interment will follow at the Assembly of God Cemetery in Cuba, NM. Casket bearers will be George Lopez Jr., Leroy Lopez, Steve Duran, Leonard Duran Jr., Richard Duran, and Johnny Duran.
