Leonela G. Mrs. Leonela G. Sanchez, 89, born August 13, 1915 and a resident of Albuquerque passed away on May 1, 2005 peacefully at home with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her six children, Marie Neville and Lloyd, Rita Saladin and Dan, M.R. (Richard) Sanchez and Theresa, Robert Sanchez and Mary Jane, Sally Cordova, and Teddy Sanchez; one brother, Willie Garley and Reina; 18 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sanchez was preceded in death by her husband, Sosteno; a son, Leo; two sisters; and five brothers. Mrs. Sanchez was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation for Mrs. Sanchez will be Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at San Jose de Los Duranes Catholic Mission, 2110 Los Luceros Rd. NW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A final visitation will be Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at San Jose de Los Duranes Catholic Mission with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Jerry. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Saladin, Ron Sanchez, Jason Sanchez, Bobby Sanchez, Anthony Sanchez, and Lawrence Apodaca.
