Fred Otero, 54, beloved son, brother and husband passed away with his loving family at his side on May 1, 2005 after a battle with cancer. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Elizabeth (Villescas) Otero and his children, Albert D. Otero and Phyllis A. Romero and her husband, Leroy; seven grandchildren, Ben, Damian, Jasmine, Victoria, Zechariah, Azhyan and Zion; his parents, Florian and Celina Otero; four brothers, Leo Otero and wife, Arthur Otero, David Otero and Leroy Otero; seven sisters, Berna Apodaca and husband Jimmy, Margaret Dean and husband Chris, Julia Lucero and husband Frank, Melva Vigil and husband Jeff, Maria Venezuela and husband Phillip, Patricia Otero Johnson and husband Hoss and Margaret Kanitz; numerous relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Please join the family in celebration of Fred's life here on earth on May 5, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Church of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Rd NE, Albuq., NM. The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff at Presbyterian Hospice Unit for all their help in our time of need. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
