Irving W. Bergquist, 90, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, May 1, 2005. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Jayne Bergquist; nieces, Lesley Schultz and husband, Andrew, Johnelle Phelps and husband, Cliff, Deborah Hudgins and Karen Oligher and husband, Ray; great-nieces and -nephew, Devon Hudgins, Chad Hudgins, Alexandra Phelps, Jordyn Phelps, and Ashley Schultz, all of Albuquerque. Mr. Bergquist was preceded in death by his brother, John W. Bergquist and sister, Ruth Severns. He was a gardener who loved planting vegetables and being outdoors. He also enjoyed trout fishing in local waters. Private family Graveside Services will be held Friday, May 6, 2005 at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. He will be missed by all who loved him.
