Obituary for SUAZO

Caroline T. Suazo, age 73 of Albuquerque, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2005. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Victor Suazo; her son, Lawrence Suazo and wife, Sandra, and children, Jessie and Jenna of Bayfield, CO; son, Keith Suazo and wife, Jeanette, and children, Victoria and Ryan of Albuquerque; siblings, Mary Alice Martinez, Ema Sanchez, and Larry Trujillo, all of Albuquerque. Caroline was born in Vallecitos, NM. She graduated from McCurdy Mission High School, in Santa Cruz, NM. After her college graduation she returned to teach at McCurdy Mission. Later, Caroline and Victor taught school in Hooper Bay and Alakanuk, AK. She retired from the Albuquerque Public Schools in 1987. Caroline survived a series of illnesses since her retirement. She received a liver transplant in 1991, cardiac by-pass surgery in 2002 and was undergoing hemodialysis therapy. The family extends their heart-felt thanks to Dr. Richard Ming, Dr. Leonard Sanders, Dr. Hoang Nguyen, Dr. Ruby Bendersky and the healthcare staff in the Dialysis unit at Lovelace Sandia Medical Center. Our thanks is also extended to the Second Presbyterian Church members and staff who have supported Caroline over the years. A viewing will be held at French Mortuary Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd., NE, Tuesday, May 3, 2005 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Services will be held at Second Presbyterian Church, Edith and Lomas N. E. on Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd., NE. Pallbearers will be Michael Martinez, Marvin Martinez, Larry Trujillo, Jr., Tom Tutt, David Tutt, and John Baker.
