Frances Hinton Lipton passed away suddenly on Monday, April 25, 2005. She was the devoted daughter of Herbert and Nevilene Hinton of Sturgis, KY and sister to Harry Hinton, also of Kentucky. She worked in Washington, D.C. during World War II and was a guest at the inaugural of President Franklin Roosevelt. She married Col. Samuel Lipton and traveled with him to Europe and Japan. She had many wonderful friends throughout her travels and years in Albuquerque. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her daughters, Debra Burgmeier and Donna Lipton; and her grandchildren, Sara Burgmeier and Patrick Hutchinson, all of Albuquerque.
