Gerald Thomas Broyles, age 67, passed away April 15, 2005. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond T. Broyles and Katherine A. Broyles and leaves behind his wife, Carolyn J. Smith. He grew up in Concord, CA and was a 1955 Graduate of Mt. Diablo High School, served in the US Air Force then joined the Civil Service in 1961. He moved to Southern CA in 1964 and then transferred to Albuquerque in 1986. He retired in 1988. Jerry had a great love for cars and was a member of Albuquerque Z Car Club and Route 66 Rodders. In January of this year, he won an award for his 1958 Willy's Jeep at The Super Nationals Car Show. Jerry's many friends will miss him dearly, but are comforted knowing Jerry is in heaven, working on all of God's Hot Rods. A special Thanks to Vista Care Hospice for their care and support.
