Obituary for DURAND

Louise Violet Durand, 46, beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, left this world and into the arms of our Lord on Saturday, April 9, 2005. Loved by all who knew her, Louise left behind her precious daughters, Julia Viola and Ann Louise; their father, Martin Eckert; her mother, Mrs. Viola Durand; her sister, Cathryn Durand Mahoney and husband, John Mahoney; her brother, Richard Durand and wife, Nelly; her fiance, Jim Magnarella; niece, Allison Self; nephews, Richard Durand, David Durand and Joseph Self; and many, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Louise gave over 27 years of her life to the airline industry. An avid and gifted artist, Louise painted throughout her life, and opened a small art gallery for her friends to display their works. Her love of life, love of family and love of her precious daughters was evident to all who knew her. She is now in heaven with her Dad and will be waiting for all of us. In the meantime, she will be missed. A Mass celebrating her life on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas NE. Interment will follow at Mt.
