Macedonio (Max). Mr. Macedonio (Max) Maldonado, 69, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on April 9, 2005. Mr. Maldonado is the beloved husband to Mrs. Rose Maldonado, married for 48 years. Mr. Maldonado is also survived by his three daughters, Christine Pacheco, Cecilia Padilla and husband, Tommy Mora, Connie Lueras and husband, Dennis; his son Max Maldonado and wife, Tina; 11 grandchildren, Nicole, Eric, John Paul, Tomas, Amber, Denise, Vanessa, Alex, Mandy, Nicholas, and Alan Michael; two sisters, Romey Chaves, Jennie Sanchez and husband, Eddie; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Maldonado was a member of the Catholic Church, a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp serving in the Korean Conflict, a member of the D.A.V. # 3 and American Legion Post # 99. A visitation for Mr. Maldonado will be Tuesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Wednesday morning from 8:30 until 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by a Franciscan Friar. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Liberato (Lee) Baca, Gary Contreras, Joe Ybarra, William Martinez, Eric Pacheco, John Paul Padilla, and Nicholas Maldonado.
