Obituary for ARCHULETA

TAMMY RENEE ARCHULETA, age 38, passed away peacefully, in Santa Fe on April 8, 2005, following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents: Maria Dolores and David Fava; great grandmother, Maria Lejal Olvera and beloved brother, Eric Padilla. She leaves behind two sons: Michael David Archuleta and Jesse Jacob Joshua Archuleta. Tammy will be greatly missed by her beloved fiance, Larry DesJarlais and ex-husband, Michael Archuleta. Tammy was born in Albuquerque on September 14, 1966, the beloved daughter of Hector Fava and Bertha Garcia and stepmother Barbie Fava. She graduated from Rio Grande High School in 1984. She later moved to Santa Fe where she was employed by the State of New Mexico in a position that she was very proud of in the Secretary of States Office under Agriculture and Trademarks; she was also involved with anything that would aid in the help of Hispanics and women. Tammy loved being involved in Toys for Tots and the Aids Walk New Mexico. She will be greatly missed by all her sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, many nieces and nephews; as well as many other family members and friends. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, April 13, 2005, 7:00 p.m. at Berardinelli Family Chapel. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 13, 2005, 9:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Private inurnment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Albuquerque.
