Obituary for SANDOVAL

Manuel R. Mr. Manuel R. Sandoval, 84, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away on March 30, 2005. Mr. Sandoval is survived by his wife of 46 years, Margaret Sandoval. He is also survived by his children, Manuel H. Sandoval and wife, Victoria, David P. Sandoval and wife, Gloria, Evelyn Giron and husband, Samuel, Yolanda Bowes and husband, Michael, Jane Cooper and husband, Doug, and Frank Sandoval; four sisters, Mary Salazar, Aurora Mondragon, Minnie Duran and husband, Alfred, and Priscilla Lucero and husband, Albert; two brothers, Moises Sandoval and wife, Bernilda, Gilbert Sandoval and wife, Lollie; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Sandoval was preceded in death by his parents, Wenceslao and Francisquita Sandoval and a son, Benjamin P. Sandoval. Mr. Sandoval was a member of the Catholic Church, a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II, a member of the V.F.W. Post 99 and the D.A.V. Chapter # 4. A visitation for Mr. Sandoval will be Monday evening at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon George Valverde. A final visitation will be Tuesday morning at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by Father Joe Vigil. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. with full Military Honors by the United States Army. Honorary pallbearers will be Edward Griego, Carlos Roybal, Elias Roybal, Tomas Sandoval, Christopher Sandoval, and Greg Giron. Cremation has taken place.
