Obituary for MONTOYA

Andy P. "Bombo" Mr. Andy P. Montoya, loving called "Bombo", 75, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side. Mr. Montoya is survived by his wife, Tillie; his children, Andy A. Montoya and wife, Sally, Raymond P. Montoya and wife, Brenda, Sammy J. Montoya, Mark R. Montoya, Alfred Tafoya, Joe Tafoya and wife, Josie, Klarissa Pena and husband, Johnny, Angela and Alex Lucero, Annette and Dwight Flores, Theresa and Mark Baca; one sister, Mary Apodaca; 22 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Montoya was preceded in death by his parents, Refugio and Francesquita Montoya; two brothers, Manuel and Adelino; three sisters, Louise, Clara, and Virginia. Mr. Montoya was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation will be Sunday afternoon at Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac SW from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 p.m. A final visitation will be Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Edmund Savilla. Interment will follow at the Los Padillas Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alfred Tafoya, Joseph Tafoya, Andy A. Montoya, Raymond Montoya, Mark Montoya, and Mark Baca.
