Charles "Chuck" H. Weinhold, 66, died Thursday, March 24, 2005. Charles was born on November 1, 1938 in Waterloo, IA to Daniel and Anna Weinhold. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Daniel and Barbara. Charles is survived by his son, Kevin Canaday; daughter, Leann Weinhold-Wright and husband, Stephen T. Wright; granddaughter, Sydney Wright; ex-wife, June Weinhold; and several nieces and nephews. He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1960 in the 62nd Trans. Co. Charles was a long-haul trucker for over thirty years and most recently worked as a dump truck operator. His passions included auto mechanics and any form of motorized racing. Charles was a kind man with a big heart always willing to help those in need. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a charity or an educational institution of your choice. Friends are invited to visitation on Thursday, March 31, 2005 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Friday, April 1, 2005 at 1:30 p.m.
