Obituary for PADILLA

Clorinda Padilla, age 83, a resident of Los Chavez, NM, passed away on March 27, 2005, and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church on Atrisco in Albuquerque, NM. Clorinda enjoyed her work as a cook for the Belen Schools. She especially loved feeding the children at the school. Clorinda will be remembered always for having an open house and a very kind heart. Clorinda is preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Tarcilla Alderete; her husband, Lillaldo; son, Joe; daughters, Melba Montoya and Elizabeth Tafoya; sister, Albina; brothers, Elfigo, Manuel, and Mateo. She is survived by her daughter, Frances Sanchez; son, Leroy Padilla and his wife, Mary Jane; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Rosendo, Vincent, and Pete; sisters, Lucy and Annie. Services will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel beginning with a viewing on Thursday, March 31, 2005 at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m. A final viewing will be on Friday, April 1, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. at Romero Funeral Home Chapel. With the utmost respect for her wishes, cremation will take place following the final viewing on Friday. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St. Belen.
