Michael A. (Trank) Perea went home to be with the Lord on March 22, 2005 at the age of 40. He was born on March 3, 1965 in Albuquerque, NM. He is survived by his father, Michael Perea and wife Evelyn; mother, Rita Perea and fiance, Larry Sisneros; wife, Cheryl Perea; sons, Anthony Reyes and wife, Kenisha and Nicholas Perea; daughter, Celia Perea; brother, Richard Perea of Tampa, FL; sister, Dolores Griego and husband, Michael; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; step-brothers, Danny Espinosa and Charles Espinosa; step-sisters, Tanya Espinosa, Rosemary Ortiz and Monica Espinosa and his grandchildren, Saphire and Edward Reyes. He will be missed by all. Visitations will be held on Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served after the Rosary in the Celebration of Life Room also at Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the San Isidro Cemetery in Los Nutrias, NM. Pallbearers will be Lanny Torrez, Gerald Aragon, Frankie Garcia, Brian Burns, Ricky Avilia and Dennis Zamora. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Byrd, James Fucci, John Birner and Eddie Avila.
