C. Prescilia Cappuccilli-Burt, 59, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005. She is survived by her husband, David R. Burt of Albuquerque; mother, Terecina Valdez; brother, Gilbert Valdez and wife, Sharon; sister, Virginia Duewall and husband, Don; niece, Janelle Amendola and husband, Wayne; nephews, Tate Duewall and wife, Ivy and Alex Valdez; cousin, Anna Beery and husband, Chuck; and dear friends, Barbara and George Brazil. She was preceded in death by her father, Antonio Valdez. Prescilia served the community and positively impacted many lives with her 35 years of service to US West. She was a servant to the community and a friend to all and by her presence the community is a better place. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Monday, March 21, 2005, 10:00 a.m, at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the UNM Lobo Club benefiting Student Athletic Scholarships, 1414 University Blvd. NE, 87131.
