Allen G. Sievert, 65, died Monday, March 7, 2005 at Albuquerque Regional Medical Center, surrounded by loving family and friends. Allen is survived by Donna -- his wife of 27 years; his brother, James; his son, Jack; his mother-in-law, Mildred Hill and her family; and a multitude of caring friends, to whom his family is very grateful for their support during Allen's illness. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, William and Eunice Sievert, and his daughter, Cynthia Sievert. A life-long resident of New Mexico, Allen was born in Albuquerque on January 13, 1940, and was the long-time owner and operator of Sievert Manufacturing Company in Albuquerque. At Allen's request, there will be no formal services nor any "hand-wringing or blubbering."
