John Joseph Murphy, survivor of World War II and the Baton March, born January 6, 1919, died February 28, 2005 at age 86. Survived by: three daughters, Laura Garcia, Cecilia Rivera, Rosalie Rivera; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Special Mass will be given on April 3, 2005 at 10:15 a.m., location: San Felipe Parish, 2005 N. Plaza NW (243-4628).
