Charles Franklin Minteer Sr. went home to be with the Lord on March 6, 2005 at the age of 80. He was born on March 2, 1925 in Elwood City, PA to Andrew and Mary Minteer. He served in the Navy during WWII. Charles was married on June 6, 1944 to Ruth McFerren in New Castle, PA and resided in Bosque Farms, NM. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, two grandchildren, and one sister. He is survived by his children, Lana Minteer of PA, Linda and Buck Poteet of Mesa, AZ, Chuck and Bunny Minteer of Bosque Farms, NM, and Bonnie and Dave Yesko of PA; sisters and brothers, Luella Stiner, Alice Botler, Dorothy, Harvey Minteer and Harold Minteer; grandchildren, Norman, Chris, Michael, Craig, Kendra, Alicia, Burt, Amber, Dawn, Sissy, Tim, Charlene, and Missy; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jen, Michele, Zach, Chris, Sara, Mathew, Joshua, Tyler, Samantha, Sam, Tony, Josh, David, and Crissy. He will be missed by all. An Evening Service will be held Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Inurnment will take place on Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Services are in the care of: GARCIA MORTUARY 717 Stover Ave. S.W. 243-5222
