Martha Kathrine Fjelstad, 80, a resident of Albuquerque for the past 21 years, and former resident of Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, March 01, 2005 at Anna Kaseman Presbyterian Hospice. Martha was born on May 29, 1924 to Louis and Ellen Sorensen. Before retiring, Martha was a clerk for Bell Telephone. Martha was predeceased by her husband, Edward A. in 2003. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa A. Medina and her husband, Gilbert S.; her grandsons, Antonio E.S. and Andrew J.R.D. Medina; her two great-grandchildren, Siera Savannah and Brandon Sonny Medina. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at the Chapel of Sunrise Funeral Options at 11:00 a.m. Martha will be laid to rest with her husband, Edward, at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. "Grandma, We love you!"
