Obituary for BROWN

Richard Rick Brown, 63, a resident of Albuquerque for 20 years died Wednesday March 2, 2005. Rick is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jewel Brown; children, Ronnie Jones and wife, Brenda of Arkansas, Stan Jones and wife, Sydney Smith of Albuquerque, Bonnie Morford and husband, Ron of Colorado, Lee Jones of Mississippi, Brenda Hochstein and husband, Andreas of Albuquerque, Heather Brown and spouse, Estephan Franco of Albuquerque and Ricky Brown of Albuquerque; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many friends. He was born in Montgomery, Alabama on April 17, 1941 and graduated from George Washington High School in Montgomery. He served in the United States Air Force before entering into college. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Alabama. He worked for the United States Treasury Department as a bank examiner until his retirement in 1987. Rick loved fishing, country music, hunting, reading and his favorite of all things, family time. He was a beloved husband, father and papa and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2005, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Pastor Frank Dorrington officiating.
