FRANK V. ORTIZ JR., former United States Ambassador, age 78, of Santa Fe, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2005. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2005, from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. at Berardinelli Family Chapel. A Rosary will be recited Thursday evening, 6:00 p.m. at St. Francis Cathedral Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 4, 2005, 1:30 p.m. at St. Francis Cathedral, with the very Reverend Monsignor Jerome Martinez y Alire as celebrant. Interment will follow at Rosario Cemetery and conclude with a reception for family and friends at the La Fonda Hotel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in the Ambassador's name to the Palace of the Governors Endowment Fund, c/o Museum of NM Foundation, P.O. Box 2065, Santa Fe, NM, 87504.
