Susanna Hope Jilek, 4 1/2 month old daughter of Evie and Brook Jilek, died suddenly at her home in Albuquerque Saturday morning, February 26, 2005. Survivors include her parents; her grandparents, Cathy and Tom Sullivan and Kay and Hal Jilek, all of Portales, NM; her great-grandparents, Lola and Hubert Hutchins and Virginia and Al Schmuck, all of Portales, and Dorothy Sullivan of Clovis, NM; aunts and uncles, Kirk and Pride Zivkovich of Las Cruces, NM, Ginger and Justin Light of Petersburg, TX, Cory Jilek of Lubbock, TX, Catherine Sullivan of Las Cruces, Thomas Sullivan, William Sullivan, and J. P. Sullivan, all of Portales; and two cousins, Chaney and Sloane Light. The Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 in the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel in Portales. Father Carlos Chavez will celebrate the Mass of the Resurrection, Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the Portales Cemetery. Cory Jilek and Thomas Sullivan will act as pallbearers. Services will be under the direction of Wheeler Mortuary in Portales.
