Mildred Mae Wittle, 79, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, February 22, 2005. She is survived by her daughters, Wanita Kirkman and fiance, Bob Fondino, and Peggie Metz and husband, Rick; four grandchildren, Jason Kirkman and wife, Alise, Jeff Kirkman and wife, Connie, Adam Morgan and Tim Morgan and wife, Tina and great grandson, Zachary Canaan. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Elwood Wittle and two sons, Charles and Donald. She is also survived by numerous friends at Los Colinas Retirement Village. Mildred was a longtime resident of Belen where she and her husband enjoyed many friends and activities, especially golf. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Graveside services will be held Monday, February 28, 2005, 11:00 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
