Bennie T. Loraas, 84, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away quietly at home, Saturday, February 12, 2005. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa. He is survived by his three children; Sharon Wilbur and husband, Robert L. of San Antonio, TX, Roger Loraas and wife, Antoinette of Farmington, NM, and Margaret "Peggie" McCabe and husband, Bill of Albuquerque; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited Sunday, February 20, 2005 at 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, February 21, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Please join the family following the service for coffee in the Marion Center. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Eric L. and Scott S. Wilbur, Matthew A. and Sean D. Loraas, William B. and Daniel A. McCabe, Robert L. Wilbur, Brandon Roberts, John Daves, John Heath, Peter Cogan and William J. McCabe.
