Mrs. Connie Gomez, 79, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on February 10, 2005 and is now in Heaven with her Lord and is reunited with her husband, Robert Gomez who passed away in May 2004. Mrs. Gomez is survived by her loving children, Johnny Gomez and wife, Nancy, Rudy Gomez and wife, Reenie, Mike Gomez and wife, Frances, Ronnie Gomez and wife, Debbie, Pat Gomez and wife, Isabel, Yolanda Griego and husband, Jerry, Becky Chavez and husband, Rudy, Trisch Graupner and huband, Mike, Liza Whitacre and husband, Hal; one sister, Emma Sangre; three brothers, Joe Saavedra, Alejandro Saavedra and Puseno Saavedra; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Gomez was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW with a Rosary to be recited at 4:00 p.m., by Los Hermanos. A final visitation will be Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Daniel Balizan. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Gomez, Rudy Gomez, Mike Gomez, Ronnie Gomez, Pat Gomez and Jerry Griego. Honorary pallbearers will be Marc Gomez, Eric Gomez, Jesse Gomez, Jason Gomez, Mike Gomez Jr., Paul Gomez, Carlos Gomez, Ryan Gomez, Andrew Gomez, Gabriel Gomez, Isidro Griego, Elias Griego, Emilio Chavez and Mauricio Chavez.
