Ella May Naser, 99 died on Saturday, February 5, 2005. Ella May was born in Marion County, OH, to Clarence McMillan and Jenney (Beatty) McMillan on August 23, 1905. She was raised in Indianapolis, IN and married George J. Naser of Kewanee, WI on September 12, 1928. She lived on the Naser farm where she raised her three children until 1956 when she and George moved to Green Bay briefly and then to Albuquerque in 1958. She raised four of her seven grandchildren after the death of her middle daughter in 1964. She cared for many north valley neighborhood children during her many years here. Ella May moved to Tempe, AZ in 1976 after the death of George until 1987 when she returned to Albuquerque. Ella May was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church where a memorial service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2005 after a brief graveside service at Sandia Memory Gardens where she will be laid to rest with her husband George and her daughter Patricia Maez. Ella May was a loving grandmother to seven, mother of three, great grandmother of eleven, and great-great grandmother of two. She was a published poet and songwriter, jewelry maker, craftswoman, quilt maker, Sunday school teacher, church worker and a believer in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. She will be grievously missed by those who love and survive her and who will remember her with affection always.
