Obituary for EAGLEMAN

Genevieve C. Eagleman, 93, beloved widow of Ben Eagleman and mother of sons, Jan and Lance, passed into the arms of her Lord on February 8, 2005, in Albuquerque. Genevieve was an Executive Secretary to Agency Superintendents of the Bureau of Indian Affairs at Crownpoint and Zuni, NM, for over 30 years but later made her home in Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years in 1989 and her son, Jan, in February of 1997; grandson, John Todd; one niece, Patsy; and her brothers, Bill and Tommy. She is survived by her son, Lance, and his wife, Barbara, and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth. Genevieve is also survived by five grandchildren: Staci, Heather, Josh, Wendy, and Christopher; 19 grandchildren; and three nieces and two nephews. Genevieve was born in Ft. Cobb, OK, on November 24, 1911, and was an enrolled member of the Caddo Nation. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael's and All Angles Episcopal Church, 601 Montano Rd. NW, with Genevieve's niece, The Rev. Canon Dr. Carol M. Hampton, officiating. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. French Mortuary 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW (505) 897-0300
