Mrs. Cecile V. Veneman, aged 98 of Albuquerque, a resident since 1994, coming from Santa Clara, CA, passed away Monday February 7, 2005, at a local nursing home. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn L. Elliott; grandson, Dale R. (Virginia V.) Elliott; great-grandson, Patrick W. Elliott, all of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.W. "Ven" Veneman in May of 1974. She was an avid pianist, enthusiastic baseball fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers; she enjoyed painting and traveling in her younger years and had a longing for the Mississippi River. She will be dearly missed by her family. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and no visitation or Memorial Services will be held at this time. French Mortuary 9300 Golf Course Rd.
