Virginia "Gina" Wylie, 89, born in 1915 in Gallup, NM, died Monday January 31, 2005 in Albuquerque. She is survived by son, Claude Wylie and wife, Julie; son, Alan Wylie and wife, Marion; daughter, Nancy Banes and husband, Tom; son, Ken Wylie and wife, Barbara all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Karen Wylie, Tracey Wylie, Ginger Moore, George Wylie, Stacey Banes, Brandon Banes, Matthew Wylie, Nathan Wylie, Brent Wylie, and Ryan Wylie; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Wylie, Sr. in 1980. Mrs. Wylie was a founding member of the Four Hills Country Club. She was a member of the Women's Golf Association of the Four Hills and Albuquerque Country Club's. She will be endlessly missed as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. Services were held Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary Lomas Blvd. Chapel and a reception followed immediately. Private interment was held at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation was held Friday from 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at French Mortuary Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Contributions may be made to Casa Angelica Home - 5629 Isleta Blvd. SW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87105.
