Obituary for MILLER

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday February 06, 2005

Rex D. Miller made his journey home on January 30, 2005. He was able to pass peacefully at home in the care of Presbyterian Hospice. He is survived by his wife of fifty plus years, Joan Lee Miller of Albuquerque; his daughters, Jocelyn Cayard of Rio Rancho and Jennifer Mather of Olathe, Kansas were also by his side. Rex has four beautiful grandchildren to carry on his legacy: James King, Jeremey King, Jessica Mather and Justin Mather. Also surviving are Rex's siblings, Gerald Miller of Bloomfield, IA and Penny Miller of Cedar Rapids, IA. After retiring to Albuquerque, Rex and Joan were avid antique dealers and collectors. Rex will be remembered for his dry sense of humor, his love of the teaching profession and his travels through Europe. Private services for the family have been held. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Presbyterian Hospice Home Health Care, 8100 Constitution Pl NE, Suite 120, Albuq., NM 87110 or to the Hospice Inpatient Unit at Kaseman Hospital.
