Frances Mary Bowles, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at the tender age of 99. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Lou Parks; grandson, Charles Allen Malm; two great-grandchildren, Gavin Malm and Carin Malm. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Bowles in 1960. Mrs. Bowles was born in DeKalb, IL. She attended nurses training and became an RN graduating from Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. She continued her nursing career in Denver, CO, Kansas City, MO, and Tulsa, OK. After retirement, she moved with her daughter and family to Albuquerque in 1973. Her love of travel allowed her to visit the Far East and Europe. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Bowles will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her so dearly. A rosary will be recited Monday, February 7, 2005, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Private interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the tender loving care she received in her final days beginning with Odyssey Hospice, then to Camino Vista Manor Care, Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital and finally the Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice.
