Obituary for FLEMING

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Thursday February 03, 2005

Gloria C. Fleming, 78, was called home by the Lord on January 29, 2005 to join her beloved husband, George. She missed him so much that she did not want to stay here without him. So, the Lord sent George to take her by the hand, and he led her through the Gate to Heaven. Both are now free from pain and together in joy forever. She was born October 15, 1926 in Woonsocket, RI and a retiree of A.T. Cross Company. Gloria is survived by her children, Ronald and Suzanne; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Stella Whitehouse. Mass of Celebration is scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2005 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery and Mausoleum followed by private Inurnment. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be designated to the charity of one's choice. We would like to extend a very special thank you to all of the wonderful staff at Manor Care Camino Vista who cared for Mom during her brief stay. The caring staff on Zia Wing will always have a special place in our hearts, especially Marie Honeycutt and associates who perform an exceptional task in the care of the elderly. You will always be in our prayers for your compassion to others. Mom, may you clean every window in Heaven while Daddy steadies the ladder beneath your feet. We love you both.
