Mildred N. Poe, 94, a former longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, January 21, 2005 in San Bernardino, CA. Mrs. Poe is survived by a son, John J. Poe and wife, Patti of Woodinville, WA; daughter, Mary Ellen Burchett and husband, Warren of Rialto, CA; grandchildren, Valerie Poe, Brian Sandenaw, David Burchett and wife, Theresa, and Sara Vines and husband, Chuck; great-grandchildren, Benjamin Burchett, Michael Woods, Abigail Proctor, and Jonathan Proctor. Her husband, Thomas Franklin Poe, preceded her in death. Mrs. Poe was a long-time member of First Christian Church in Albuquerque. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 28, 2005 at First Christian Church, 10101 Montgomery NE, with Art Cordova, officiating. Pallbearers will include Bud Cavin, Dick Stansbury, Pat Loftus, John Driver, Tom Headley, and Russ Harrison. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd, NE. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Indonesian Christian Mission, The American Indian Christian Missions or to the Christian Mission of your choice.
