Obituary for RANEY

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Monday January 24, 2005

Marjorie Wilson Raney, 81, died on Saturday, January 22, 2005 in Albuquerque, NM. If you were ever fortunate enough to be in the presence of Marge, three beautiful thoughts come before us and those are Mom, Love and Friend. These thoughts truly remind us that we are in the presence of one of God's greatest creations. Marge gave her love unconditionally and straight from her heart. Marge knew God was working through her and she accepted and excelled in spreading the word of God and love throughout her life. Marge touched so many souls through unconditional love, peace and understanding. The love she has given is ongoing, everlasting and shall never die. God is love and Marge shared God's love with everyone she touched. In her I am sure the creator of Heaven and earth is pleased. Motherhood is just one of many positions she mastered. She was truly a caring, nurturing mother that you could confide in. She would never be judgmental but spoke freely from her heart. She was always there, dedicated to her family through all the trials and tribulations. On January 22 when Marge passed on to be with the Father, the sky seemed a little grayer without her but the angels in heaven rejoiced for one of their own has come home. Marge's love lives on and shows in all her children, children's children and all family members. Marge, we will all surely miss you from the deep part of our souls, but know in our hearts you will be waiting for us when we pass on with your loving arms wide open. Amen.
