Obituary for VASQUEZ

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday January 09, 2005

Henry "Hank" Augustine Vasquez was born in Flagstaff, AZ on Saturday, April 2, 1949. He passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2005 after a 10-month battle with pancreatic cancer. An incredible inspiration to his wife, Viola Vasquez; twin children, Jay and Amber Vasquez; mother, Isabel Vasquez; sisters, Victoria Vasquez and Marie Allen; and brother, Phil Vasquez. Hank maintained a positive and lively attitude throughout his illness. He and his brother, Phil, founded and owned The Tooth Factory Dental Laboratory, where he was acknowledged as one of the leading dental technicians in his field and was appreciated by his staff as a compassionate director. Hank Vasquez had a benevolent spirit, believing that with enough trust and nurturing, an individual could surpass their own expectations. It is because of this that he is loved deeply and will be missed by countless people who he had given a chance and believed in when nobody else would. Hank has shown us how to fight for what we believe in, how to love passionately, how to believe in the possibility of others and most importantly how to trust in God. We will miss him dearly. Services will be held Monday, January 10, 2005, 11:00 am at John XXIII Catholic Church, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr., Albuquerque, NM 87111. French Mortuary, Inc. 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE (505) 823-9400
