Mrs. Ida Bell Sortor died in Albuquerque on Sunday, December 19, 2004. Mrs. Sortor was born on May 27, 1910 to Everett and Fannie (Stephens) Tedder. In 1942, she married Jacob L. Sortor in Anchorage, Alaska. The couple moved to Albuquerque in 1961, where he died in 1976. Eight of her brothers and sisters died earlier. She is survived by her daughter, Juanita Schikore; sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and Clarence Crawford, of Belgrade, Missouri; and many other relatives who loved her dearly. Mrs. Sortor's remains will be buried in Belgrade after January 3.
