Jean Helen Sanders, age 87 and a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died Tuesday, December 28, 2004. Mrs. Sanders is survived by her children John, Edmund, Mary Lou, Connie, and Joyce; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Born in San Francisco, California, Jean also lived in Alaska, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. before settling in New Mexico. Before retirement she owned and managed 3 beauty salons: The Gossip, Monterey Plaza, and Miss Deb. Her businesses flourished because of her warm personality and positive attitude. Later in life, she moved to The Grand Court, where she was truly content and made many dear friends. She will be missed by all those who loved her and whose lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to All Faiths Receiving Home Foundation, 1709 Moon St. NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87112.
