Obituary for LEVIT

Norman Bradford Levit, age 83, of Albuquerque, died on Thursday, December 30, 2004 in his home. He is survived by his sons; Lawrence and wife Nilda Pascual, Jerome and wife Kristine Kelsey; granddaughters; Keira and husband Richard Sorrells and Naomi Levit; grandson Joshua Levit, nieces, nephews and friends. He and his recently deceased wife, Lila, moved from Chicago to New Mexico in 1967. Norm was a registered pharmacist since he was 21 years old. Much of his career was spent at the University of New Mexico where he served on the faculty of the College of Pharmacy and was the Associate Director of Radiopharmacy from 1976 to 1982. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that contributions be made in his honor to the Solorzano Fund c/o Jerry Levit, 113 Winsome Lane, Chapel Hill, NC 27516, which was established to advance the higher education of young people in Guatemala. Services will be held on January 5, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd. S. E. Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. S.E. 842-8800
