ELIZABETH A. VALLEJOS BAMFORTH of Albuquerque and formerly of Hatch, went home to be with the Lord at the age of 42, December 29, 2004 in Hatch. She was born October 28, 1962 in Las Cruces to Primitivo Sr. and Ramona Padilla Vallejos. Liz will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity and strong loving spirit, always putting others before herself. She was a precious gift from God and she will never be forgotten, always holding a place in our hearts. She is survived by her three sons, John Bamforth III, of Clovis and Scott Bamforth and Bryan T. Faifer both of Albuquerque; her parents; two brothers, Primitivo Vallejos, Jr. and wife Jo Beth of Las Cruces and Edward Vallejos and wife Mary of Albuquerque; three sisters, Zenaida Chavez and companion Nelson West of Las Cruces, Rose Lytle and husband Faron of Rincon, Gina Fields and husband Darnell of Hatch; paternal grandmother, Maria Vallejos also of Hatch. Other survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and one special God Child, Savannah Ramona Apodaca. Her husband, John Bamforth, one sister, Mary Elizabeth Vallejos, grandmother, Maria Inez and grandfathers, Alejandro Vallejos and Cornelio Padilla, preceded her in death. Visitation for Elizabeth will begin at 6 PM Sunday, January 2, 2005 in Our Lord of Mercy Catholic Church, 117 Hartman in Hatch, where the Prayer Vigil is scheduled to begin at 7 PM. Family and friends will join together to Celebrate the Funeral Liturgy at10 AM Monday, January 3, 2005 in the same church with the Reverend Franklin Eichhorst, Celebrant. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in the Rincon Cemetery where she will be laid to rest in the family plot. Serving as casket bearers will be Edward, Jordan and Primitivo Vallejos, Jr., Faron Lytle and Derrick and Darnell Fields. Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Baca's Funeral Chapels, 300 E. Boutz Road, Las Cruces. 527-2222
