Lena E. Martin, age 74, and a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully at her home, alongside her family Sunday, December 19, 2004. She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas and her husband William. Lena is survived by her daughters, Charlene Martin, Mary Dawalt, Tammy Martin, and Greta Stout; sons, Robert Martin and Chad Buckland; 17 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one great great grandson; many other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Viewing and services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, on Wednesday, December 22, 2004. The viewing will begin at 2:00 pm, concluded by the funeral service at 3:00. Burial will follow with Daniel Davis, Michael Dawalt, Gregory Martin, Ronald Stout, Bryant Stout and Matthew Dawalt serving as pallbearers. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW.
