M.R. Gutierrez, 85, a resident of Albuquerque for 54 years, died Saturday, December 18, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Tomasita "Tommie" Gutierrez; daughter, Theresa Nevada; sons, Dennis Gutierrez and wife, Patti, Andres Gutierrez all of Albuquerque, Joey Gutierrez and wife, Mary of Phoenix, AZ, Tommy Gutierrez and wife, Laurie and Dale Gutierrez and wife, Maddie, all of Los Lunas; grandchildren, Robert, Eric and wife, Andria, Lisa, Danielle and husband, Shawn, John, Matthew, Benjamin, Christopher, Nicholas, Taylor and Ariana; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Jacob, James, Gianna, Beau and Bella; sisters-in-law, Bertha Segura and Frances Gutierrez, both of Santa Rosa, NM; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his son, John Gutierrez. M.R. worked for many years at Sandia National Labs. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, time pending, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Gutierrez, Tidus Gutierrez, Robert Nevada, Jason Gutierrez, Benjamin Gutierrez and Taylor Gutierrez. Honorary pallbearers will be the rest of M.R.'s grandchildren.
