Nella B. Taylor, wife of the late J. L. Taylor, prominent rancher, farmer, and oil man, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2004 at the age of 90 in Albuquerque, NM where she has resided since 1987. Nella was born January 11, 1914 the daughter of John Morgan and Margaret Mary Gillespie Norris in Artesia, New Mexico. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother lovingly known as "Nana." She was a world traveler visiting most all continents. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J. L. Taylor; son Kenneth Taylor; and sisters, Alice Norris, and Lucille Moore; and brothers, James, Wayne,and Homer Norris. Nella is survived by a daughter-in-law, Sue Taylor of Santa Fe; granddaughters, Sharon Willis of Albuquerque, and Jan Taylor "Jada" of Sedona, AZ; and great-grandchildren, Shannon, Ryan, and William; sisters, Dorothy Norris and Johnie Mae Laman; and brother, George Rex Norris. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2004 at 10:30 am at the Woodbine Cemetery in Artesia officiating will be J. T. Ross.
