JOSE ALFREDO Missionary of Mercy Jose Alfredo Duran (Fred) was called home by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 4, 2004. He was born to Alfredo and Vicentita (Martinez) Duran on November 25, 1941 in Clayton, NM. Survived by wife, Mary (Eva); son, Sammy and wife Martha; daughters, Debbie Valdez husband Larry, and Vickie Leyba husband Edward; sisters, Josie Hernandes, Lorraine Peralta, Alyce Duran, from Albuquerque, NM, Connie Garcia, from Espanola NM; brothers, Ben Duran from Courtland, CA, Ernest Duran, Leroy Duran, from Greeley, CO, Jerry Romero, from Las Vegas, NM; ten grandkids, four great-grandkids. Preceded in death by son, Manuel and daughters, Geraldine and Eileen. Services will be held at St. Josephs on the Rio Grande across from St. Pius. Rosary will be on Wednesday, December 8 at 5:00 pm; Mass will be Thursday, December 9 at 10:00 am with Burial following at Mt. Calvary.
