Obituary for STROM

Nadine, On November 30, 2004 Nadine M. Strom lost her life in a tragic auto accident. Nadine was born August 17, 1930 to Jack and Paula Donner in Burwell, Nebraska. Nadine and her family grew up in many different areas in the western United States. Nadine graduated from high school in New Plymouth Idaho where she meet her husband Floyd Strom of 53 years. Floyd and Nadine were married in San Diego on January 20, 1951. After Floyd was discharged from the service they moved to New Mexico where they raised their three children. Nadine and Floyd moved to Edgewood in 1975 were they have continue to live. Nadine's passion was horses. She purchased her first Arabian horse in 1971 which became her life long passion. Nadine was a member the New Mexico Arabian Association for many years and a charter member of the Edgewood saddle club. Nadine was dedicated to showmanship and was still taking lessons up to the end of her life. She is still riding the trails. She is survived by Floyd Strom, husband; Vicki Strom, daughter, and Vicki's two sons; daughter-in-laws and two grandchildren; Calvin Strom, son, and daughter-in-law Mary Margaret, and three daughters; Gary Strom, son and daughter-in-law Glenda; two daughters, two sons and eight grandchildren. She is also survived by Sister Laura Trenary, Nieces Diane Ortiz, Shelley Donner, and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins, and many friends. Friends and family will celebrate her life on Thursday, December 9,2004 at Moriarty Civic Center, 202 Broadway, Moriarty, New Mexico at 10:00 a.m. Donations are welcome to any Animal Rescue in her name.
