James A. Perkins, 74, born on December 13, 1930 in Harrison, Texas, passed away on December 3, 2004. He is survived by Eleanor, his loving wife of 53 years, and his sister, Kathryn Short. He is also survived by his five children and 21 grandchildren: daughter Michelle and husband Paul Rerarchik, parents of Anthony, Christopher, and Alicia; daughter Debra, parent of Leah, Daniel, Nathan, and Aurelia; son Paul, his wife Micaela, parents of Brennan and Spencer; son Andrew and wife Christa, parents of Michael, John, Byran, Rachael, Joseph, Peter and Dominic; daughter Angela and husband Todd Pease, parents of Jenny, Mary, Todd-Michael, Vivian, and James. James retired from the Air Force on September 8, 1967 after 20 years of proud service. Rosary will be recited on Sunday, December 5, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. Mass will be celebrated Monday, December 6, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Casa Angelica Home, 5629 Isleta Blvd. SW, Albuquerque, NM, 87105, (505) 877-5763.
