Michael Sandwell, 59, passed away at his home on November 30, 2004. He was raised in Kankakee, IL and was a longtime resident of New Mexico. Michael was employed with New York Life for 28 years. He is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Sandwell. He is survived by his wife, Trudy Sandwell; father, William Sandwell and wife, Willie, of Duncan, OK; two children, John Sandwell, of Orlando, FL, Christine Lehman and husband, Vernon, and grandchildren, Amanda and Shelby, of Austin, TX; and one sister, Patricia Cerutti, of Wakasha, WI. A prayer vigil will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3, with a reception to follow at Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. A Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, also at Risen Savior. Interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery with military honors at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 6.
