Obituary for THOMPSON

David Thompson, 75, died on November 26, 2004 in Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife, Glinnie Sue Thompson of Dexter, NM; two daughters, Joyce A. Gottlieb and husband, Art of Rio Rancho and Deborah Sue Thompson of Temple, TX; one son, David W. Thompson and Kay Arver of Dexter, NM; five grandchildren, Amanda Thompson, BJ Gottlieb, Jennifer Thompson, David W. Thompson, Jr. and Misty Gottlieb; two sisters, Betty Sue Huffman and Joyce Megeaski; one sister-in-law, Bernice Rochester and three brother-in-laws, Frank, James and Bill Hill. David served in the US Army during WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was highly involved in the Hawk Missile System. After retirement, he continued working on missile systems with RCA, Raytheon and GTE, where he became involved in the Cruise Missile System. He loved life and his family. He was known for his sense of humor by all. He deemed it a great honor to serve his country. Service will take place on Monday, November 29, 2004 at 12:30 p.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel with Chaplain Lemuel Boyles, officiating.
