Robert Gerard Griego, 41, was called by the Lord suddenly, Wednesday, November 24, 2004. He was preceded in death by his half-brother, Robert E. Griego. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Bertha Griego; partner, Jody Mares; sister, Roseannette Bentz; brother, Michael Griego and wife, Ida; half -sisters, Louise Lovato and Loretta Thomason; half-brother, Larry Martinez; niece, Brittany Bentz; and nephew, Nicholas Griego; beloved dog, Gia; and many other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Gerard was loved by many. Everyone's lives were brightened by his presence, and he will be greatly missed. Viewing will be on Monday, November 29, 2004 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Mildred Ave. NW (4th and Mildred NW.), with the Rosary immediately following. A Christian Burial Mass will be celebrated at l0:00 am on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at St. Therese Catholic Church, with interment following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers are Roseannette Bentz, Michael Griego, Jody Mares, Joseph R. Segura, Joella Lopez, and Marvin Czerwonka. Honorary Pallbearers are Brittany Bentz and Nicholas Griego.
